Discovery Pack — the ceremonial cacao starter set by Sacred Bean.
The Discovery Pack is a ceremonial cacao starter set for beginners, and a gift for anyone curious about cacao. It includes all four Sacred Bean products: 1½ lb ceremonial cacao paste in chips, 1½ lb cacao nibs, 1½ lb cacao powder, and 50 g cacao husk tea. Every product is 100% pure ceremonial cacao — organic Criollo Fino de Aroma grown in the Ecuadorian Amazon and sourced directly from Indigenous Kichwa families through direct commerce.

Why this pack is different
Most starter kits pair one cacao block with a cup or a whisk. The Discovery Pack does something different: it gives you the whole fruit. Paste, nibs, powder, and husk tea — four forms of the same cacao, so you can compare them and choose what fits each moment. And because our paste comes in chips, not a block, there is nothing to chop and nothing to weigh. Count 12 chips for a full cup.
A cacao for every moment
The paste is the traditional ceremonial cacao — the same pure cacao other brands offer, but in our handmade chips, so it is easy and accessible to everyone without losing its roots. Count your chips into the cup, or simply take one chip in your mouth and taste the flavors of a gentle microdose.
The nibs are for the purist. Eat them directly, like nuts — I love them with granola and vegetable milk — or grind them for a rustic, full-bodied ceremonial cacao.
The powder is the easiest to use and prepare. Take it cold, stir it into smoothies, or add it to your other supplements. It carries all the cacao solids and benefits, with most of the fat pressed away.
The husk tea is relaxing and naturally sweet — the ideal cup for the night, when the day slows down.
And sometimes, when I feel the call for a stronger cacao, I mix chips and powder together. It gives the cup a beautiful texture and a deeper experience.
The Whole Cacao — a recipe for two
All the flavors of the cacao fruit, the open heart, the energy, the textures — and really easy to do. Whole cacao, whole connection.
Frequently asked questions
I'm new to ceremonial cacao. Is this pack for me?
Yes — it was made for that. You get every form of cacao in one box, so you can discover what you like instead of committing to one product first.
How do I prepare it?
Count 12 chips for a full cup of paste cacao; stir powder into hot or cold milk, water, or a smoothie; eat nibs as they are or grind them; infuse the husk tea like any tea.
Do I need to perform a ceremony to drink it?
No. Use it as a morning ritual, an afternoon pause, or an evening tea. The ceremony is optional — the cacao is the same either way.
Does ceremonial cacao contain caffeine?
Cacao's energy comes mainly from theobromine, and it also contains a small amount of caffeine. The husk tea is the gentlest choice for the evening.
Is this a good gift?
Yes. It is a complete introduction to ceremonial cacao in a single box — for a beginner, or for someone who already loves cacao and wants to explore every form of it.
What makes Sacred Bean different?
Our cacao is organic Criollo Fino de Aroma from the Ecuadorian Amazon, sourced directly from Indigenous Kichwa families through direct commerce — not a certification label, a real relationship. And our paste comes in chips, never blocks: no knife, no scale, no waste.
A beautiful gift — for yourself, or for someone you are inviting into the ritual. This is where the Sacred Bean journey begins.
